Your role at Tumi:
The Manager of Brand Partnerships primary role is to help lead and implement the company’s current and future new business efforts and strategic growth directives across Collaborations and Brand Partnerships.
This role will be responsible for seeking out, negotiating, and optimizing all active and future collaboration partners, to further enhance and expand each business’ reach. They will serve as the brand liaison and primary point of contact for partners. Responsibilities will include seeking out new partners, negotiating agreements, and overseeing the day-to-day management of the categories. In partnership with the Head of Business Development, they will actively look at market data and lead partner execution on target new categories and businesses for continued strategic growth.
The successful candidate will be an analytical and high energy individual, with strong verbal, written and presentation skills who displays confidence and enthusiasm in their communications. Must have a strong work ethic, be a self-started, highly organized, and able to manage multiple projects in parallel and under time constraints.
• Partner with the Head of Business Development on strategic planning/ business development as well as deal structures, and implementation.
Drive YOY profitable royalty income growth through the optimization of existing licensee businesses and partnerships and the addition of new categories.
• Continually analyze and identify opportunities to drive/ grow the business in both existing and new categories.
• Interface with regional partners to maximize new category opportunities.
• Lead ongoing contractual requirements- execute new agreements and amendments.
• Track and present financial performance quarterly and annually with partners.
• Lead quarterly business reviews with partners and key cross-functional senior leadership teams.
• Research and approve new global account growth.
• Work closely with TUMI omni channel buying and planning teams to monitor and analyze partnership category performance and opportunities for growth.
• Visit DTC and Wholesale accounts to monitor in-store presentations, pricing, competitive set, and product trends.
• Key interface with internal Marketing and Creative service teams to ensure products are included in brand initiatives.
We're excited if you have:
• 7+ years of experience in Licensing- Brand or Agency preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience negotiating and executing licensing contracts.
• Self-Starter who can work autonomously at times with a strong sense of initiative and critical thinking.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Well versed in business planning and analytics
• Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Workfront

Minimum Pay Rate:
$135,000 per year
Maximum Pay Rate:
$150,000 per year
